Great Answers to Interview Questions
12.45 - 2.15pm, Room D

Are you nervous of job interviews? Do you feel that you could improve with a little bit of practice, discussion and feedback? Here is your chance to do some serious preparation for your big day.

In this workshop there will be chances to handle tough interview questions, observe fellow students dealing with questions and give and receive personalised feedback.

This is a challenging workshop but participants make great strides in their confidence and understanding.

Writing the Application Form
2.20 - 3.50pm, Room D

Do you find it difficult to understand what the questions on application forms are getting at? Do you find application forms stressful to complete, or are you put off applying for jobs that require you to complete application forms? Do you struggle with structuring your answers?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then our Application Forms workshop could be just the answer.

During this informative session our expert careers advisers will share insights on what employers look for, provide you with the opportunity to review typical application form questions and share practical tips and strategies to help you produce stand-out answers.

The Assessment Centre Experience
4.00 - 6.00pm, Room D

Do you know what is really involved in an assessment centre interview?  Have you ever done one?  Well, here's your chance - come along and practice some of the elements you will need to master to get a job after an assessment centre.

Group working, presentations, e-tray exercises and numeric tests are just some of the activities covered in this workshop.  We'll also give you some practical advice on what employers are looking for and some handy tips on how to tackle these nerve-racking days.
