NCS The Challenge

Stand: A04

The Challenge is a fast-growing social enterprise that connects and inspires people across the UK to engage with and strengthen their communities. NCS (National Citizen Service) is a programme that helps us achieve this mission by bringing together young people aged between 15 and 17 years old, from various different backgrounds, to help build their confidence and support them to make a difference in their local community through a three week semi-residential programme over the summer. In summer 2016, we have worked with over 30,000 young people and around 34500 seasonal staff across London, Surrey, Berkshire, the West Midlands and the North West.

For summer 2017, we will be looking to recruit around 5,000 staff members to work with us. We have many different roles available for those with varying levels of experience. The success of NCS depends heavily on the seasonal staff that work with our young people to motivate and lead them to strengthen their communities and develop essential skills. So if you have got a passion for our cause and the right amount of energy and enthusiasm to work with young people then make sure you get involved to find out more!

Full training for the role is provided.
