The Information Lab has a simple mission: to help people make sense of data. We believe that companies which use data well will have better futures than those that don’t and have been helping clients such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, Virgin Atlantic and UBS do so by specialising in the leading products for data visualisation and data integration - Tableau and Alteryx - since 2011.

About The Information Lab

To satisfy increasing demand from our clients and a skills shortage in this area, we opened The Data School in June 2015, where you can get the opportunity to become a future Tableau and Alteryx Guru, before working on placements with our blue chip client list.

Now in its fourth intake we have brought together an exceptional team of coaches (including 3 Tableau Zen Masters and one of only a handful of Alteryx ACEs globally) to teach you some of the best training available in these two fast growing technologies and have also prepared a broad curriculum to ensure you learn best practice techniques for storing, managing and presenting data. If successful, you should expect about 4 months classroom training with a small group of trainees at our beautiful dedicated facilities in Central London followed by three industry placements of six months.

At the end of your two year placement therefore, the data world will be your oyster.

Our best consultants describe themselves as 'not quite normal' and are passionate about data and problem solving - they even dream about it. If you are kept up at night working out the solution to a question posed or wake at 5am wondering how to disprove a pattern an 'expert' has presented, you'll be in good company.

All those successful in their application, will be offered a two year fixed term contract within The Information Lab with a starting salary of £30,000 per annum, rising over the training period. We therefore can only accept applicants for this role who have a right to work in the UK.
